About True To Kids
A joyful, hands-on way to learn and grow — created by Tanya True.
Music • Art • Movement • Science • Heart
True To Kids is a whole-child early education and enrichment program designed to nurture creativity, confidence, and connection through music, art, movement, and play.
Developed by longtime educator and musician Tanya True, the program integrates three decades of early childhood teaching experience with insights drawn from leading early education philosophies, creative arts practice, and child development research.
Since the late 1990s, Tanya has taught and collaborated with a wide range of schools and organizations in New York City and Los Angeles, including Free to Be Under Three, The Jewish Community Center, Rockefeller University’s Child & Family Center, and numerous early learning and special needs programs. Her curriculum incorporates music and movement with hands-on art, early science exploration, and storytelling — offering a well-rounded, sensory-rich experience that supports physical, emotional, artistic, and social growth.
True To Kids continues to evolve as a joyful, inclusive learning environment where each child’s curiosity and individuality are celebrated.
